Happy Finish creates some of the world's
most eye catching images and campaigns through
photograph retouching.
In Spring 2010, they held three one-day
events to raise awareness of the possibilities
of using computer generated imagery in photographic
production. The 'Photography isn't dead'
events were designed to show anyone involved
in photography and graphic design, new creative
ideas and tricks of the trade.
The events were held in Shoreditch, East
London at the Town Hall, 'Blossom Street
Studios' and 'The Village Underground'.
Each of the three days had the same format,
where live demonstrations and tutorials
took place. Whitwam provided and managed
projection equipment, lighting, sound and
background music.
Nicola Petrides said 'The events were an
enormous success with over 700 photographers,
art directors, graphic designers and web
developers attending to see the live show.
Thanks to Whitwam, everything ran super
efficiently and flawlessly. Whitwam delivered
over and above what was expected, with an
honest and realistic approach to the technical
requirements of the event from the start.'
