'The Sustainable Business Partnership'
is hosted by Hampshire County Council, which
exists to encourage and support more businesses
to adopt sustainable business practices.
To achieve its aims, the SBP offers a wide
range of business support activities under
the direction of the Networks Management
Group. Such activities include training
and events, and awareness-raising and communications.
One of the regular events held is 'The Sustainable
Business Awards' which were held on Thursday
20th May 2010 at the De Vere Grand Harbour
Hotel in Southampton. Around 150 people
from Hampshire and Isle of Wight companies
attended to collect their awards and enjoy
a celebratory dinner.
Whitwam were asked to produce the stage
lighting, projection, PA and lighting to
this annual event.
Abigail Flanagan, Events Coordinator at
the Sustainable Business Partnership said
'Simon Bobbett of Whitwam produced the event
for us this year. As usual we could rely
on Whitwam to run the show with minimal
fuss and maximum professionalism. A great
service was received.'
