NPIA - National Policing Improvement Agency

The NPIA Specialist Training Facility is based in Wyboston, Bedfordshire. Advanced audio visual teaching equipment is used there for staff training. Matrix systems of PC links to overhead projection screens were supplied and installed by Whitwam.

Hampshire County Council

Hampshire County Council's newly refurbished headquarters are situated in Winchester. Whitwam has provided audio visual equipment for seven of the meeting rooms and for the main auditorium which seats up to 200 people.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue

At the Eastleigh headquarters of Hampshire Fire and Rescue, a number of training rooms have been equipped with audio visual systems, as well as a committee room with video conference system. Whitwam also supplied 60 bespoke portable training units to be used at the Eastleigh HQ and at 52 fire stations, where there are fragmented training requirements.

Institute For Government

A lecture room, meeting room and boardroom at The Institute For Government's prestigious offices in Central London, have been supplied with audio visual, overflow and touch-screen control systems. Large plasma screens have been fitted in the reception area.

Geological Society

The Geological Society has its headquarters in the Royal Academy building on Piccadilly in London. Whitwam supplied projection, sound system and webcast equipment for the main lecture theatre.

Royal Aeronautical Society

Situated just off Park Lane, The Royal Aeronautical Society has had a touch-screen control system, lighting and sound system installed in the main lecture theatre.

St. George's Chapel, Windsor

The Chapel at Windsor Castle was equipped with a complete new sound system, with touch-screen control, CCTV for daily services and outdoor sound system for ceremonial occasions.

Trethowans Solicitors

The reception area and boardroom at Salisbury Head Office have been supplied with audio visual equipment. A video conferencing system was installed in both the Southampton and Salisbury offices.

Salisbury City Hall

A front of house and backstage paging system has been implemented, in addition to an outside sound system. Plasma screens in the foyer advertise upcoming events and a feed from the local radio station is also in place. Two meeting rooms have also been equipped; one with sound and projection system and the other with induction loop system.

Winchester City Council

Perhaps the most unusual of Whitwam installations… a sound system in the public lavatories on The Broadway in Winchester! The constant classical music is expected to keep young vandals away from these conveniences, and to add a sense of grandeur to this humble public building!
